Fund Raising Updates:

Please don’t forget your October Calendar tickets are due in on September 24th and Gun Bash tickets are due on October 1st. You should turn your tickets in to your team parent in an envelope, with your name on it. Tickets should be turned in during practice, and not during games or other functions. If you are having trouble selling your tickets, now is the time to talk with a board member about the problem.

 

Gun Bash

 

As always, we will need volunteers to help with the Gun Bash this year. The Gun Bash will be held on Sunday, November 2nd at the Kinloch Fire Hall. We need volunteers to help set up on Saturday the 1st, and then many volunteers to help wherever needed on Sunday. Please see Tim Horwatt if you can help.

 

Board Nominations:

A sheet is posted at the concession stand for nominations for the Board of Directors for the 2009 season. Nominations will be taken until October 15th. Voting for the board is done at the banquet. If you, or someone you know, are interested in being on the board of directors, please add your name to this list.

 

Banquet Reservations:

Our banquet will be held on Saturday, November 8th, at the Clarion Hotel. Your invitation letter is being passed out with this newsletter. Please take time to make your reservations as soon as possible. You don’t want to miss this special day!

Board Meetings:

The Lower Burrell Flyers Board of Directors will meet as needed during the season. Please see a board member if there is information you want the board to be aware of.
