To Visit Lower Burrell Flyer's Field:

From Pittsburgh:

Take Route 28 North to exit 14 (Tarentum). At the bottom of the exit, bear right and go straight through the next traffic light. Come across the Tarentum Bridge, and go straight through the next 3 traffic lights. At this point you will be on a small bypass which will bring you to a fork in the road. Take the ramp to the left towards Leechburg (Route 56 East) and go over the overpass. You will then be on the route 56 Bypass. You will come to a stop light beside Ace Hardware. Go straight through this light and Flyers field will be on the right about 1/4 mile ahead. BE CAREFUL turning into the facility. Welcome to Flyers Field!

We would like to extend a warm welcome to all of the teams that will visit us this season. To make your experience at our field as enjoyable as possible, we offer the following information:

››	Our field is located off of the Route 56 East Bypass in Lower Burrell. There is no ramp or turning lane to come into our facility. As a result, people turning into our facility need to make sure they DO NOT stop as soon as they turn in. As you turn right into the field, please continue down to the gate where we will direct you to park. Failure to do so may mean that others behind you will be left stopped on the Bypass, waiting to turn in. This is a safety concern, as traffic on the Bypass often travels at 50 - 60 MPH. Please be courteous to others by following this important guideline.
››	There is ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING PERMITTED on the Route 56 Bypass. Parking on the Bypass is not only a serious safety concern, but also is illegal, and your car will be ticketed and towed by the Lower Burrell Police.
››	We do provide 4 sets of bleachers for our visiting fans. Each set of bleachers can hold approximately 30 people. If you prefer, you may feel free to bring your own chairs, or other seating necessary to enjoy the game. The visitors are seated at the opposite side of the field, across from the concesion stand.
››	Our concession stand will serve food throughout the day. We will begin with breakfast food in the morning, and switch to lunch partway through the game day.
››	Our admission fees are $2 for adults and $1 for children.

Directions to Camp:

Take the PA Turnpike East to the Donegal Exit. Turn left after the toll booth. Go approximately 12 miles, and look for the sign on the right for the Pioneer Camp Grounds (there is a picture of a wagon wheel on the sign). You will also see a sign for Laurel State Park. Turn right. Near the crest of the hill, on the right, is the Laurel State Park entrance. It is marked by two stone pillars on either side. Go to Camp Site #8.
