Meet Our Officers

President: Beth Beattie

I have 4 kids, Payton (20) is a Sophomore at Seton Hill University, Devin (18) is a Senior at Burrell, Bryce in 4th grade, and Tanner in 1st grade. Bryce and Tanner play football on the Cadets and Recruits. I have been around the Flyers' Organization since my daughter cheered 15 years ago. I served on the Board of Directors from 2012-2016 then became Vice President 2017-2019. Left the board for a few years to watch all the kids grow until it drew me back. Very excited about this season working with a great board to make it a great organization!

Vice President: Sammy Jackson

This is my 4th season with Flyers organization and I am very excited for the challenges and growth ahead! Last year I held a board of directors position and could often be found cooking in the concession stand during practices and games. I am also the PTA Treasurer for Stewart Elementary School and Sr. Accountant for Primanti Brothers Corp. I have 2 kids, Emma (9) and Camdyn (7), and a bonus son, Braylen (16). This is Emma's 4th year cheering; Camdyn and Braylen both play soccer and this year Camdyn is wrestling. I thoroughly enjoy watching all kids grow, try new things, excel in what they love and appreciate any opportunity I have to support them in it!

Secretary: Jenna Golem

I’m a full-time nurse and mom of 3. My son, Archer, joined the Recruits in 2023, so I am relatively new to youth football, though I became part of the Flyers family when my oldest daughter cheered for the Recruits 9 years ago. I started attending the board meetings because I was interested in learning how our organization operates, and I’m excited to able to help make this a great year for all of the kids playing and cheering this season!

Treasurer: Heidi Taylor

My family and I are new to Lower Burrell. In 2022, my son, Tristin, played for the Recruits and is thrilled to return to play for the Cadets in 2024. I have a professional background in finance and business working for the U.S. Army first as a soldier and then as a civilian. I also have over six years of experience as a volunteer treasurer for other organizations. After supporting my husband's 21-year Army career, we chose to make Lower Burrell our home. I am looking forward to establishing roots and becoming part the Flyers Family.

Meet Our Directors

Aleace Mathews: I am lucky enough to be both a cheer and football mom. This year my daughter Macy will be cheering on her brother Jack on the Cadets while my husband Rick helps on the coaching staff. I was a Flyers cheerleader myself for 7 years and am so happy my children get to be a part of this organization as well. Looking forward to another great year.

Amber Triano: I have 3 children and this is my 4th year with the flyers organization. My son Layne will be on the Flyers next year and my son Noah will be joining the Plebes!

Emilie Thompson: This year will be my 5th year with the Flyers Organization. My son Oakley is 9 and plays for the Cadets. I have a stepson Landon that is 15 and a daughter Khloe who is 1. My husband, Jared Thompson, has coached for the Recruits and the Cadets the last 3 years. I just want to give this organization the potential it deserves for our kids. We are going to be here a while and I want to make it the best years yet!

Julie Taylor: I am a mom of 4 and a special education teacher. I thrive in chaos and enjoy helping out whenever I can. I have been a committee member for our local Cub Scout pack for 8 years and enjoy helping behind the scenes to help make experiences happen for kids.
