Important Information

Registration documentation turn-in and packet handout date will be announced.  This will take place prior to equipment handout and will need to be completed before your athlete will be able to pick up their equipment and uniform(s). 


Football player requirements for League representative to review & stamp approved:
>Original birth certificate
>Copy of birth certificate
>Copy of most recent (2024) report card/ letter from residing school district.


PICTURE DAY: Saturday, August 10th.

MANDATORY WEIGH-INS: 
Place: Franklin Regional
Date: Saturday, August 10th
Time: 3:45pm (subject to change), arrive by 3:15pm!

Flyers Cheerleading 2024

Lower Burrell Flyers Youth Football is offered for boys between the ages of 5 and 12 in the Lower Burrell , Riverview and Springdale School Districts. Your age for the season is determined by your age on April 30th.
 
Teams are broken down as follows:
Plebes - 6U cheering for flag
Recruits - 8U cheering for tackle
Cadets - 10U cheering for tackle
Flyers - 12U cheering for tackle
 
Registration Rates
  • 6U: $65
  • 8U - 12U: $100
  • $10 additional athlete discount

 
Volunteer & Uniform Checks
In addition to the registration fee(s), families are required to submit a uniform check ($ TBD) and $200 volunteer check (per family) that will be held until volunteer responsibilities are completed & uniform(s) returned.
  • If the family does not complete volunteer duties by the end of the season or turn in the uniform, the check(s) will be cashed.
  • If the family completes volunteer duties and turns in their uniform, both checks will be returned at the equipment/uniform turn-in.
  • If a family chooses upfront to not volunteer, a waiver must be signed and the volunteer check will be cashed immediately.
 
There will be a informational packet & uniform handout date(s) forthcoming.

Flyers Football 2024

Plebes - Flag Football - 5 & 6 years old - No weight limit
Recruits - 7 & 8 years old - Skills weight 105lbs; Max weight 130lbs
Cadets - 9 & 10 years old - Skills weight 130lbs; Max weight 150lbs
Flyers - 11 & 12 years old - Skills weight 155lbs; Max weight 180lbs
